Australia Day Pub Crawl!

Australia, you know – that rock in the southern part of the Pacific Ocean that was once home to the scum of England? Right. Well, in 1787 England sent a fleet (known as the First Fleet) to Australia to set up a penal colony. Of course, it is known as Invasion Day or Survival Day to the country’s indigenous people. In celebration of this joyous occasion, the Santiago Pub Crawl is having an Australian Day Pub Crawl!

On Friday, July 27th we’ll celebrate our favorite islanders’ national holiday!

The theme is “beach and beer”, so dress accordingly, but remember that you cannot enter the clubs with flip-flops. It is also advised not to wear shorts, as some of the clubs can deny entrance with the use of them.

If you dress according to the theme, you’ll receive a 20% discount and if you are Australian (with I.D.), your entrance for the wildest night in Santiago is a mere $5.000 CLP!

RSVP to the event on facebook here and don’t forget to invite all of your friends, Aussie and otherwise. Please don’t invite kangaroos or dingos. Also, if you are lucky, perhaps we will have the results for Australian of the Year, which is awarded annually.
